Rating: G

nascent: adjective:
Beginning to exist or having recently come into existence; coming into being.

He tries to convince himself that the nascent feelings of attraction to Wilson have nothing to do with Wilson's newfound sense of independence. He's failing miserably.

There's something so incredibly satisfying about Jimmy's sharp, "Not a chance", when House makes his usual grab for foodstuffs, the scowl that brooks no argument. Wilson refuses to pay for anything, including his own meals at times, leading to a hilarious altercation with an unamused cafeteria personage.

He ignores pages, calls for consult, invitations to dinner. House asks him to come over and cook, Wilson gives him directions to a very warm, very-uninhabitable place where the sun refuses to shine.

"You don't love me any more," House pouts.

The cold glare leveled at his chest holds no love, and quite a bit of another, far-too-familiar emotion. House has seen hate before, especially in regards to himself, but never before in those eyes.

It's actually quite the turn-on.
