i have been reading people's livejournals from home...add that to reading my own personal journal from last year, and the result is a girl who is very thankful to be done with that stage of her life.

no more high school, surrounded by people telling me it's okay to be less than i was made to be.

i am more.

I know...I'm not saying "getting out" is necessarily literal. I just look back and see that nothing has changed. And I feel like I am growing so much, so it makes me sad that not everyone else is able or willing to do the same. No offense meant to anyone. It was meant to be more of an encouragement...Sometimes I think people can't see their own potential.

Some people can change and flourish in their own surroundings just fine, some people can't. Some people have other ways of growing etc. I didn't take it as you looking down your nose at anyone. Obviously I know you better than that.. but my point still stands. Anyways, we should get together when you're in town. It'd be nice to visit.

thanks for clarifying--and yeah, i know you're right. and just to make sure you understood, the "excuses for why you're not going anywhere" was really about going anywhere in life, not geographically. I know people can make a life in PO. But I don't see a lot of people taking the opportunities that they have.
