Why do you need to paste after selecting with the lasso tool? I will confess that I'm a PS noobie, and English is my second language (I'm pretty good at it too, I just mean that I can still get confussed with some terminology, depending on how tired I am at the moment of reading English). I would also like to now how you eliminated the yellow thing at the bottom of the cat.
