SO my psyc prof loves me. WE had a funny convo todayI missed an exam due to the fact that I didn't know it existed because I was sick. She said because I am doing so well in the course that she will jsut average the other exams and not make me write this one. she also went on to satshe thinks I am smart, I get the material and should consider it ( Read more... )

yes it is fucked up. what's that say to the other students who worked their asses off for their grades, probably studied pretty effin hard for that exam, made it, and wrote it? as long as you have a good excuse, you can get off?

no no no, she dosen't always do that. The only reason she did it for me was because I have done well on all my other in class stuff and exams. I am in the top of my class. And I am usually there. IT actually could work to my dis advantage because now instead of 4 exams at 25% i will have 3 at abut 33%. So if I bomb the final I am screwed. I was fully prepared to write the exam. It may not be fair to the other students. But alot of the other students arn't putting in any effort (the last exam avg. was a 60) And the course really isn't that hard. I dunno I defently see your point. But its not like its a regular thing. This means I have to study twice as hard for my next exam because its worth alot more.
