ahh for the first time, i completely agree with you on your opinion of mrs. carey's actions. It is incredibly unfair and a poor excuse for teaching.

the only thing i can defend her on is that she was called for jury duty, she didn't sign up for it. Its a legal obligation and while you can get deferrals, there are only so many times you can do that.
