I'm trying to get over my impossible must catch up mentality and just jump back into LJ in the present, in the hope that I can do better at keeping up instead. I still also hope to get to at least some of the comment replies I owe, but, if I can't -- well, I apologize (again) and redirect to the keeping up over catching up attempt
