As promised,
I ate raw okra. Three succulent fresh, um, slimesticks? Whatever okras (correct plural? Okrae? Okrons?). Anyway, they were kind of slimy, yet crunchy and okra-tasting. I'd appreciate something a bit more bacon-grease-and-cornmeal tasting for next time.
