I had my 3-monthly check of my pacemaker yesterday; it's been normally 2 in a row on the phone then one in person. Well, yesterday's check was in person. I have my usual pacemaker check in Austin, at my usual time of 3 pm, on my usual day of Friday. I have late lunch plans (I think, I'll know tonight) around 1, and need to catch up with Brandy sometime Friday or Saturday (sorry, not going to make the party on Sat night, the flounder are making their last run of the fall and, well, yeah.)

Well, I depleted the whitetail deer population of Refugio County by one today at the stroke of noon. You just have to admire the marketing geniuses that came up with the name "Total Clusters" for a breakfast cereal...and successfully got it onto a supermarket shelf near you.

I'm on my own tonight, for dinner, so I defrosted some pan sausage and cooked it up, added a couple eggs and some cheese, and made me some tacos. That was some good eatin!

Hey y'all, say hi to yasmine-pathe; she's brand-new on LJ, and while I've known her IRL for a bit over a year, we've gotten quite close since late last fall.

I picked up a baby "sister" to Rip on the road tonight. (last night, this didn't post when I tried to). She's a yellow/light fox red Lab, a bit older than Rip was when I picked him up - she could be 3 or 3 1/2 months.
