My hands are kind of tired from typing a lot of stuff today, so this entry will most likely be kind of short. XD Of course, every time that I say something like that, I end up ranting a lot
( Read more... )
It's your birthday soon!? *checks* Oh...the 23rd...wow, and I'm so horribly rusty with my graphics. What terrible timing! ;_; I'll see if I can come up with something in three days, but it may be a very late present. XD I am glad I get to wish you a happy birthday, though :D
If you think seventeen is old, just wait until you're half way to twenty. ;_; (Like me) That feels so old, you wouldn't believe it. o_o
But I can tease you! Because I effectively use a Mac now (well, same computer, I just hacked the Mac OS onto it. And that was...very hard XD) and I think it's so much better. :p But in reality, I'm happy for you. :D I always felt so bad that you had to put up with that old computer, when a good one really makes it so much more fun~
Oh, don't even dare worry about that! Seriously. I'm so horrible when it comes to giving gifts to people, that I don't even deserve anything myself. XD Just knowing that I have another good friend to talk to again is the best present that I could have. It worked out perfectly for me! <3
Anyway, aww... Don't feel too bad about that. If you remember Chrystie (Sayuri no Hoshi) from PC--my partner in crime, lol--she's actually 20 now. And she acts just like us! We'll never officially grow up, I guess. *sings Forever Young*
And gosh, I guess you do have a point there. XD However, ignorance is bliss, so I'll just be clueless and happy! I have to admit that new computers really are so much better, though, so I can't complain. ^__^
I know, but I really like the idea of making presents for everyone. When I get back on track, I'm going to make you something :D
I do remember her! Does she still post, or otherwise come online? I remember her for always having Sango and Miroku sets on PC, or something to that effect. o.o; But yeah, I still feel pretty much the same as I always have. It's just the number that sounds so...bad. Now I understand why most women can't stand it if anyone knows their age XD
Aww, thank you! *hugs* That means so much to me--but like I said, I don't think that I really deserve anything. XD Getting something from you would be so great, though, because your graphics are very cute. ♥
And yay, you do? She does actually still come online, although she's busy with college stuff at the moment, so her schedule's more restricted. I think that I talk to her more often on weekends--usually on either MSN, or through PM at PC. She's still just as funny and random as she used to be, lol.
Oh, I know! We'll probably just end up being like typical old ladies... killing the people who find out how old we actually are. XD Ha, I'm kidding!
Aww, you're welcome! I can say the same thing now. ^_^
As I told Abby, don't worry about that at all. My friends mean much more to me than gifts, so even if you simply told me "Happy Birthday!", then it would totally make my day. :D I'm not particular about things like that in any way
( ... )
Trust me, I'm certain that would never happen. XP I'll most likely be jealous of all of yours! And don't say anything like that, because everyone has some sort of talent. ♥
Aww, really? Maybe you could also try checking your scanner to make sure there aren't any specks of dust or smudges on the screen. Using bright paper can also help to make those things less noticeable.
And actually, I have gained a lot of inspiration from different styles. XD I've tried so many times to create my own, but the end result is always bad, so I tend to draw characters using similar styles from what I already know. My favorite would be Arina Tanemura's--you may have already read some of her manga before, but if not then I would highly recommend them. My favorite of them all is Full Moon wo Sagashite, because of the deep storyline. However, all of her series are worth checking out, because her artwork is absolutely gorgeous. <3
Nearly all of my current icons are of characters from her series, just so you know. XD
