I'm glad to hear that everything went okay with your car. ^_^; Something kinda similar actually happened to us once! There was a storm at night, and it actually brought down a huge tree out in the street. My grandparents' van was parked out there that night, and the tree missed destroying the van by a matter of feet. It was...bizarre to look at in the morning. o_o
I haven't seen Howl's Moving Castle, but I have seen Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service (That was also done by him, wasn't it?) I really liked both of them! I agree they can be a little weird, but they're also very different from most anime and fun to watch.
It sounds like your trip will be fun, and you'll have a lot to write about then~ :D
Thanks! Your story was interesting to hear about, as well. XD You should have seen my mom's reaction when she walked around the corner of our house and saw the bizarre sight of our goal sitting right on top of our car, lol. It must have been similar to yours! We're already laughing about it now.
Ooh, it's definitely worth watching! It was probably one of the weirdest of his movies that I've seen, but it was still really good. Kiki's Delivery Service was the first one that I saw, and I think it is sooo cute! <3 I like the simplicity of the storyline; there's nothing that's really weird about it. ^_^
Don't worry about not being too active, at least you give warnings. Unlike me. XD
But either way, I'm happy to hear things went ok for your car and I'm also happy you enjoyed the Howl fanservice as well. Hope things work out just as well on your trip. ^^
Thanks a lot! I'm trying to convince one of my friends to watch the movie now... She's become a Haku fangirl after watching Spirited Away, but I'm sure that if she sees Howl, she'll agree that he's even better! They almost look alike, though, especially once his hair changes color.
(Yeah, I need to go... meet a real guy or something. XD)
