Well, where to begin?

I've been planning to write a proper, long entry during my free time this weekend... and I think that now's a good time to do it, since my mom is in town and my brother is off playing video games with his friends. X3 ( Read more... )

One concert won't kill your hearing that much. It's really only a problem if you're RIGHT by the huge speakers, like in the mosh pit, which you shouldn't be. xD Worst that's ever happened to me at a concert is having a headache on the way home and a ringing in my ears (from standing right next to the speakers, rofl I'm smart :B) for a bit. Hope you get the tickets though; concerts are fun. :D

Okay, that's good to hear! I have a feeling that my mom will still probably force me to take some ear plugs or something, but... I'll do whatever it takes for her to let me go. XD Hopefully we'll get a good spot, away from the speakers.

But yes, I'm really excited. :D Especially if I can go with my friend from Japan!

Aww, that movie looks nice. That scene is a little confusing out of context, but I could definitely see what you mean about the locale! It'll be amazing to visit it :D

With people, you have to remember that comparisons through time are double-edged swords. I agree that a lot has been lost since those times--but a lot has been gained, too, particularly in racial and gender attitudes. Sure, women back then didn't have a difficult time cultivating a fairytale romance, but that's all they were allowed to do. So...I know it can be frustrating, but nice guys aren't dead. They're just not common anymore. You'll find one, though. I know it. :x

As for the concert, that'd be yet another awesome experience! Sadly, my tastes are so bland that the only group I could possibly be interesting in seeing in concert would be The Black Mages, since they do Final Fantasy music. XD; Like Erica said, I'm sure you'll be fine. Headphones are damaging too, in fact, even moreso depending on where you are at the concert. You'll be fine~

It is a really good movie--as long as you know what's going on! XD I had to re-watch it quite a few times in order to completely understand the storyline, but it's been worth it... I seem to enjoy it even more each time. The only downside is that their British accents and dialogue can still be kind of hard to keep up with, especially during the quick scenes like that ( ... )

Aww, but their accents really add to the atmosphere of the film, at least to that scene!

Yeah, sadly we always seem to lose as we gain. Fall back as we proceed? Something like that. XD; But yeah, they're out there. You just have to be careful. A lot of people can act and seem nice, but are totally different people in reality. oo;

I think if it's important to you--especially if you can take Yuki with you--then she'll let you go. :D

That's true! :3 I just love to listen to them talk... I'm sure that watching this movie will also help me to become prepared for my future trip to England.

Yeah, it's sad that people have lost so many of the good, really important qualities as time has gone by. I've learned from experience that there are plenty of creepy people out there... but if I have to deal with any of them, then I'll just sic my loyal dachshund on them. :D Wahaha.

But yes, I hope you're right! ♥ They're one of my favorite bands.
