I'm just one needy bastard

Another request, this one a little less invasive. My book pile, she grows slim and I have need of recomendations.

So, what should I read?

Read it. I prefer We by Yevgeny Zamyatin when I go in for my dytopian future, but Brave New World was good.

Here's a list I posted on my lj sometime. Feel free to plunder it for ideas. I'm sure you've read at least some of these.

Heck, I have an extra copy of Riptide that I'm trying to find a good home.

I remember this one. It was the impetus for picking up The Razor's Edge off audible. As for Riptide, I will gladly take that off your hands. I need to see what I can find audible-wise of Howard's stuff.

I'll give it to T to bring round to you tomorrow.

Ask T about REH on Audible. I think there's a paucity there.

If you're looking into classics, I agree with the Brave New World recommendation above.

I can also highly recommend Catch-22 and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest as great movies who's books were even more fabulous if you haven't read them.

I may be younger than most of the people I know, but I'm not a literary neophyte.

Not at all suggesting that you are. Most of the people I know have not read either book but instead have seen the movies.

Sorry, I realize that came out harsher than I meant after the fact. Those are all really good suggestions and I should probably re-read Cuckoos Nest since I've only read it the once, and that shortly after watching the movie so a little distance from both might lead to a different reading.
