I'm not gloating, I'm just happy to have been right

Friday, the wife and I headed out for pho and Coldstone with snidegrrl and bizarrojack, which was quite tasty, and followed that up with some pen nerdery which was informative. Looks like there shall be a new obsession taking up residence within our lovely home.

Saturday, we attended the belated St. Paddy's day fête hosted by tzel where I was accosted by a gaggle of urchins, all trying to steal my watch. I'm not even joking about this. This devolved/evolved into an interesting game for the adults seeing exactly what sort of truths we could tell that were not exactly the whole truth. It was never under my hat, and as was stated several times, I look better with my hat on. Oh, and the food was excellent as always. Gratzi, tzel.

Sunday, bloody Sunday. I was awoken earlier than I wanted (read 11am), but for good reason. We helped to hasten the departure of the sister-in-law, Typhoid Mary and rejoiced in the return of our library. We then completed step two of kitchen rehab with the installation of the ceiling and the reinstallation of the light, which thankfully makes the kitchen look far less pink. I then zipped off to the south to obtain provisions and returned hours later to find that Squirrelly had made a significant dent in the reorganization of the bedroom and library. I was duly impressed and Burger King was consumed.

Tonight will most likely be putting up moulding and doing a reorg of books and shelves, but we should be done soon and then the return to writing. Huzzah!
