Crushed Velvet

I like surrounding myself with strange little found objects, vintage items, antiques, books, and art.

And I'll always have a clutter filled house.

But I realize I have a lot of unwanted clutter too.

Yesterday I dumped out a bunch of old trinkets and jewelry from a little velvet lined box that had been sitting up in my unfinished 3rd floor

WOW. That is so cool! You can even see traces of some of the writing on the penny!

That is really cool. A ghostly impression from the past. I think it's such fun to re-discover hidden little treasures that get put away and forgotten about.

Also, a very sweet carving on the top of the box. I like the leaves too.
