I really like your texture but, a tiny bit of crit, from the shots you posted, the black looks a tad brown for my tastes.

Might be personal preference, though, anytime I download Nouk hairs I chuck out Almost Black, for instance.

Red is really cute, though, and I love ash blondes!

Yeah, I noticed the black thing, too. I need to re-download that BS mod to make it lighter, because it always ends up looking different in game. >( I do tend to prefer my blacks a little more red/brown than blue-ish, though.

Ash blonde is my faveeee. Can't stand yellow!

I usually use a brown base, but I chuck the saturation way down until I can't really tell what the base color was.

My problem is getting the right contrast on the blacks. I think if you try to get too much, you can get some grayish strands, or whatever your base was, which looks incongruent with the black, but you still want to SEE strands and have highlights, of course.

It usually ends up with me dicking around with a curves adjustment level and cursing my pickiness.

Yeah, me too, I probably desaturate it like 85%.

UGHHHHHHHH YES. So annoying! It's hard to find that balance between gray and having no definition. I usually dick around with layer styles until I find something that looks ok. Some of my hairs have turned out well on the black front and some not so much. It's aggravating.

Really I like these edits more than the original hair, even without the bow it was still kinda meh.
