I think sometimes that stretching happens when a mesh is mapped oddly, which leads to it looking pixelated, because the texture ends up looking wider or longer than it does off the mesh, with the other dimension remaining the same proportion. If you have a higher-res version of the texture, you could try replacing the one in your finished package with the higher res version in SimPE, with the build DXT function or something similar. That might improve the look, but it probably wouldn't completely fix the issue.
That would also increase the file size quite a bit, so it might not be worth it.
The texture s already pretty high-res, though. I've noticed that about certqain meshes, bad mapping :/ I know how to mesh and map but meh it's not worth it for this one hair lol
It is pretty bad with that one free floppy sidebun mesh of Peggy's. Which explains the lack of AWESOME retextures for it...even with my own, I got a little disappointed in how the mapping was, and said "good enough" after all my messing with it.
