I ended up not just quitting guilds but jumping servers after the jackass GM of my guild, after a Naxx run (and this was after Ulduar opened, and a couple weeks before the tournament) decided after taking down Kel'thuzad, with me having been there for months, providing free food and belt-buckles to everyone (including alts) that I hadn't done enough and my retadin didn't deserve Betrayer of Humanity, but his DK did.

What an douchecanoe. Did no one else say anything?

Sometimes I wish I could jump servers but there are a few people that I've known for over two years and it costs too much money.

A couple of people did, but this was before items that dropped in raids had the two-hour trading window, and he said that even if he could, he wouldn't give it to me.

I groupquit, then guild quit, then went into all my other characters in the guild and /gquit them, and then started the transfer process.
