it's really sad to say that i've grown immune to rejection. granted, i've been in very good spirits lately, but i just can't trust any one any more and have learned to constantly keep my guard up to avoid getting hurt

i'm a bit of an optimist but it sounds like he had fun with you and you guys got along but he was probably dating a couple other people. and then something heated up with someone and now they're in a relationship. you're both busy and you haven't had time to talk.. .and he's probably uncomfortable bringing up the topic.

or he's just not into you and don't sweat it. he's not worth the time.
