beach!

today ceida, nick, ben, jeff, cy and i headed over to the north shore for some summertime beach action, and it was beautiful. couldn't have asked for better weather! we played a little frisbee and took some dips in the chilly water, but mostly we hung out, read some books, and talked while eating various goodies that ceida & nick had packed for

Yay pictures! So are you guys having a lot of fun playing Carcassonne?

cy and i love carcassonne! we have a million expansions now. we play with the river, inns & cathedrals, and traders & builders. we also have the princess & the dragon and the count of carcassonne that we haven't tried yet.

unfortunately, we haven't been as successful in converting others to carcassonne, but we'll keep trying.

We don't have The Princess & The Dragon or The Count yet. I think if I get another Carcassonne game, it'll probably be one of the stand-alone games with somewhat different gameplay, like Carcassonne: The City.
