Hi, I was just surfing in from a friend's blog and looked on the RSS feed. I saw this entry and as someone who loves to cook but is rather new to cooking, this is very useful! I also like the pictures of your food.

i actually have no idea where my roasting pan is. i've just been using my lasagna pan for my roasting needs, but if were cooking a turkey this thursday, i would definitely need it.

i hardly used my dutch oven the first year we got married, but i've started using it more and more, especially for soups and braises. it's freaking heavy!

we use something pretty similar that we bought at super 88 instead of getting a real wok. i'll have to check this one out because the nonstick surface of my old one is starting to scratch. bonus, yours has a lid!

Even though it is a little small, my favorite is my cast iron. I got it from my mom, and I remember her seasoning it when it was brand new, I was 8, and now the pan has almost 20 years of black glossy goodness on it.

my one-person rice cooker! it makes about 3 or 4 cups of cooked rice. i would probably starve to death without it.
