Little Black Dog update

Otis survived his neutering, and I'm sure he can walk much easier now that his enormous testicles are gone - it must be a small dog thing - my friend and I have a theory that dog testicles come in one size, no matter the size of the dog. They took another x-ray while he was 'under', and his spine is healing nicely, and whatever was going on with

Keeping our fingers crossed for the next week or two, and then he should be out of the woods.

From what I've seen of dogs undergoing heartworm recovery, I'm surprised he's able to go on a tear like that.

That's what I think too, but ... there's just no stopping him. And crating him just makes it worse. Every time he starts breathing funny I'm thinking 'so, what does respitory failure in a dog sound like?' We go back to the vet for a check-up on Saturday.
