you know what is absolutely lovely? listening to sarah mclachlan's intro to "hold on," from "afterglow live."

i've been thinking about live albums vs. studio albums, as barbed_whispers put the bug in my ear. about how much i enjoy live albums, about how much i prefer listening to them than studio albums ( Read more... )

i second your strange love of live albums. even live songs (that i didn't even know were live) sound better in my opinion.

did you by any chance get the gambler ep? because it can only be bought on itunes and i can't pay money for music that might not even work on my computer, so if you have it and can send it to me, i can futz with converting the files. if not, no big. i'm sure i'll find it eventually.

i have "haughty melodic," and "skittish/rockity roll." and i will be downloading anything else that he has on itunes on thursday. because already, those albums have jumped to the top of my ipod.

(yeah. let's just say that i completely understand what you went through.)

"afterglow: live" is very different from "mirrorball," although "mirrorball" was my first ever live album and will always, always, always be one of my favorites. ::snugnudges::
