Hope you guys are getting a huge discount on the rent of the new place. It's like building a house from scratch!
Have you cordoned the back yard with string like a forensic team does? work a section at a time?
Maybe EDD is running out of money and has to stall.

The rent we'll be paying is about $200 less a month than what Marty is paying now... and we don't HAVE to do the clean up; we're doing it because we want to. Scott would do it all by himself, but without us it would take longer to get it all done.
I didn't actually use "string", but I DID cordone off sections by eye-balling them. Started in the far left corner of the yard and am working out from there. When I'd finished with the first little plot, I showed Marty what I was up against, and then walked him around the rest of the yard, showing him were the "really bad" spots were -- and where the nice stuff was (like the beautiful ivy growing up the side of the tool shed and up the side of the house).
If the EDD would FIRE their incompetent do-nothing personnel there would be more than enough to pay us applicants what we're owed.
