My NRI Onam

If it wasn't for the Malayalam cable connection at home, i probably would never have guessed that Onam is coming up next Monday.  It reminded me of how much i used to wait for this occation years ago...for the onam exams to be done with...for the school onam celebrations...tug of war competitions...arranging the flower carpet all ten days of onam

Happy Onam to u too :)...Vishu is kinda like new year for malayalees...i love vishu a little more than onam because of the kaineettam (elders give money to younger ones) ;)
