This was so relaxed and wonderful. It's so lovely to think that they may have had many moments like these. Love the way you separated Laura from the President here, and I love this:

He had already effortlessly done away with many of his long-ingrained instincts for her. His predilection against lingering in bed was the least of them.

Thank you! And god, I hope so. I wish I could finally have the time to set out to dedicate to something multi-chaptered where I could write in lighthearted moments. (Instead my brain just churns out angst. Oops.)

And that's my favorite line, too! It almost didn't make it in though. I'm glad it worked. :)
