Does there happen to be a doctor of some sort in the area? A good friend of mine happens to have fallen ill, and in these conditions, I'm afraid anything could happen. I'd prefer to take no chances.

It seems as if no one has gotten my last puzzle. Shame. I blame none of you, however, because the answer was very complicated...

No proper lady takes her tea without milk or sugar. She would be able to tell just by looking that the waiter simply removed the fly.

If you're referring to me, I'm flattered you think of me as a good friend. I have found a doctor and I am no longer in danger. Now the only hardship with which I must contend is the heat. And not for much longer, hopefully

Very, very close, but I'll accept that as an answer. Well done.

[Private to Freudia]: I'm glad. I believe the...air conditioning is still working in my room, for the most part, though I fear it may break. Yourself?

I think the air conditioning in my room will hold until at least the winter months, and then I will finally be comfortable again. Even if I had not been attacked by that... terrible creature, I would not have felt at all well outside for extended periods of time under last week's conditions.

That's understandable. From what I remember, there were various efforts to cool off put into place during last week, but everyone was feeling under the weather. Luckily, if this computer's calendar is correct, it's September now.

Do you think it gets very cold here during the winter? If so, we'll need to find heating.

Let's see. I'll say it's because there is less liquid in the cup than there was before.

We hot beverage aficionados can be very astute to that sort of thing.

I can imagine you are, but that's not the right answer. It's something unable to be seen that tipped our dear lady off.

Of course it's the right answer. Any idiot could tell the difference between a fresh and a stale cup of coffee tea.

But if that's not what you're looking for... the steam. Or a lack thereof.

It's still not what I'm looking for, I'm sorry to say. Do you happen to take your coffee black, Godot?

C should still have played dead. A or B would shoot him to eliminate any possible threat if they were smart at all.

...The tea wouldn't have been as hot as it would've been if it was a new cup, if it was the same tea.

I'm going to get one of these stupid things.

You would think so, but it didn't seem as if this was a proper solution for C at the time. And following that track, A and B would not have thought about eliminating a possible threat. People react differently when guns are trained on their heads, after all.

That's incorrect. I admire your determination, however.

Chii knows! Chii knows!

The tea was still sweet!

Ha ha! Indeed it was. Well done, Chii.

Chii read it in a book so Chii knew!

Well, I'm sure that's alright, as long as you've solved the puzzle yourself beforehand...

The tea was sweet. She had put sugar in it before.

How are you? We haven't spoken in some time, Professor.

Correct.

I happen to be doing quite well. And yourself, Rhode? You must have been affected by that terrible heat wave as well.

It's been horrible. I'm so hot all the time.

But other than that I am fantastic. ♥ Several people from my time have appeared.

Surely your room has air conditioning, does it not?

I've not been nearly as lucky to see anyone from home. Have they appeared as we have: randomly and without any memory of how it happened?
