Whoa. Creepy and seductive, indeed. For some reason when reading this, it sounded (in my head) nearly completely in the voice of Andrei Codrescu, an NPR commentator.

I suppose that someone way down the long road to ruin begins to see a beautiful girl behind that seduction... hoping that at least their last memory will be of love...

The writer surely has seen that road, maybe even heard a siren calling to him. When I got away from her call, many years ago... I wrote poetry for days. Not good like this... but I had to get it out to go on.
