wot all i have done in seattle (so far)
Yesterday:
- ordered Starbucks dark chocolate cherry mocha from my comfy comfy bed (delivered courtesy of danceswithwords &hearts)
- hopped an express bus to downtown Seattle
- walked the Pike Place Market with bheerfan
- ate piroshkies and crepes with bheerfan :D
- hopped a monorail to the Seattle Center
- two words: SPACE. NEEDLE. \o/ which was awesome. \o/
- checked out the rock photography exhibit at the Experience Music Project
- meeted & greeted (shut up, meeted is too a word in that context) fangirls for an hour
- compound word: CUP. CAKES. \o/ (keerawa also rocks)
- hung out with fangirls & watched Doctor Who
Today:
- learned how to crochet (kinda) at 8:30am BEFORE COFFEE EVEN. O_o I KNOW!!
- sat in on troyswann's world-building panel with brynnmck, asta77, danceswithwords, and a couple other lovely fangirls whose names I unfortunately cannot remember :(
(Mostly because I was occupied with the writing (and ART!) for our group poster. Which was AWESOME, you guys - we didn't just take "three teeth and a hot air balloon" and MAKE IT WORK, we pretty much wrote a concept for Skiffy's next popcorn-movie. \o/ And for reasons that do not need explaining at this juncture [*cough* contract negotiations and copyright, etc *vbeg* *cough*] I cannot textually render JUST HOW AWESOME the idea is in its entirety, but it does feature SUPERGATORS and LIQUID-HOT MAGMA and KILTS (GATOR SKIN KILTS, even!!!) and DNA and probably Bruce Campbell in the lead role. IJS.)
- fortified by a mocha, sent feedback & beta comments for a WIP
- spent some quality time with the Puplet (we did lunch) and sdwolfpup &hearts
- sat in on qe2's panel on writing voices (all I can say about THAT is that spuffyduds and a collar - "OOOOHHH, *that* kind of collar" - will never be not funny :D :D :D)
- fannish pictionary, which was by turns cute, kinda scary, and downright diabolical *g*
