Wow, that's really interesting -- so many different styles! It doesn't seem to matter what Sentinel fic I put in there, even ones that seem *really* different to me, I write like H. P. Lovecraft; not really sure what the implication is there. :-) But when I put in some BtVS stuff, I got 2 Dan Browns & 2 Stephen Kings -- I really wonder what this is looking at...

Thanks for pulling me into the time-sink with you. ;-)

Hee! And I am jealous of your Stephen King. *g* Also, I think the implication of Lovecraft is that YOU ARE VERY COOL. :D

I think you must get Stephen King if you mention vampires or something. :-)

As for Lovecraft, Wikipedia tells me this:
"His prose is somewhat antiquarian. Often he employed archaic vocabulary or spelling which had already by his time been replaced by contemporary coinages; examples including Esquimau, and Comanchian. He was given to heavy use of an esoteric lexicon including such words as "eldritch", "rugose", "noisome", "squamous", "ichor", and "cyclopean", and of attempts to transcribe dialect speech which have been criticized as clumsy, imprecise, and condescending. His works also featured British English such as "colour" and "honour" (he was an admitted Anglophile), and he sometimes made use of anachronistic spellings, such as "compleat" (for "complete"), "shew" ("show"), "lanthorn" ("lantern"), "phantasy" ("fantasy"; also appearing as "phantastic"), Hindoo ("Hindu"), and "Buenos Ayres" (for Buenos Aires)."

So now I find myself wanting to write something clumsy that uses the word "cyclopean"... ;-)

You totally should. And don't forget "ichor"! Any fic that incorporates "cyclopean" DEFINITELY also needs "ichor". Oh yes. :D

Also I just love "noisome" on general principles. &hearts

Note to self: Vampires = Stephen King, zombies = Arthur Conan Doyle. Huh? o_O

I plugged in a chapter of Unrealized Peacekeeper, and got J.K. Rowling. So...I'm a hack, but a hack with the potential to make lots of money?

Oh, don't I wish... My life has taken some very interesting turns in the last year. Got pregnant last fall, had a miscarriage in November. Then got pregnant again in February...and I'm due in November. At five months along, I'm definitely in the phase where the brain stops working properly. Shall we keep our fingers crossed that I get inspired during maternity leave, and actually have time when I'm not feeding, changing, or sleeping?

Oh, OneEye, I am so sorry to hear of the miscarriage. :(

But YAY and CONGRATS for the baby-to-be! And wow, not so far away...! &hearts I wish you & your hubby & little one all the best. :)
