Because even if you aren't referring to Person Who Has Been Making ME Crazy (and I have no evidence to suggest that you are), you pretty much summed up what i would say if I wasn't so non-confrontational.

I would probably add bits about how making someone else's POV Character anything less than a saint does NOT mean I hate POV Character. And that I actually do fact-check before I write recs, and don't make assumptions based on my own character preferences, which PWHBMMC dhas no clue about, as they don't really know me.

And I'm going to stop venting now, and just thank you. Thank You. *hugs*

And I can't quite tell if mine's a troll, or just a really oblivious newbie. I've basically handled comments with kindness, and recced comms that seem more suited to their taste when they comment on my fic specifically.

But the recent comment on my crack_van rec really kind of teed me off. Because it felt like they were just trying to pick a fight. Which I don't really do, so wrong target.

But I don't like the thought of them getting after you! Maybe I should invest in similar boots...
