I had an absolutely FABULOUS time in Monterey, even if it did take me two hours to drive a stretch of road that normally takes 45 minutes. :-p

Aquariums are completely awesome. Have you visited the Boston Aquarium, or the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans? If you can find a time without too much crowding, the walkthrough inside/underneath the huge tanks is not to be missed.

I love Monterey! But the drive down from San Francisco
is fraught with peril.
