Just got back from the gym with Amanda. GREAT first workout back!! I'm realizing how great this journey has become already. Even with a week off from workouts, I am stronger than before. I'm lifting far more than before (with ease!). My knees are becoming stronger each day. I'm up to 70 pounds on my leg curls. I know that that's small change to ( Read more... )

I absolutely hate the leg extension, I don't know why but I just do. I don't know what exercises you do but you should try a lot of free weights exercises. They work a lot more stabilizer muscles so you get a better workout.

It's funny that you say that, one of the trainers mentioned that to me just today! He showed me a few things with the free weights and I actually really liked how I felt afterward so I'm going to sprinkle more and more of that into my workouts.

I've tried the leg extension a couple of times and it always makes my legs click and it really hurts. I hate hate hate it. Hopefully it'll get btter.
