Lovely story but so sad. Its all too easy to see Kalel raising barrier after barrier to protect himself under these circumstances. I can just see Chloe asking all those questions, trying so hard to find a way through to the real person. I don't blame her and yet... It's just so sad.

I think with the missing spaceship and Davis on the loose there is great grounds for a sequel. I'd love to read it if your muse agrees.
