(no subject)
Monday the 9th:
Woke up early, cuz Ben had to come over to Berkeley to do interviews so I went to Steel. I went to the doctor to find out about this weird kinda rash thing I've had since, oh, about the first week of fall semester. It hasn't itched or hurt or anything, it's just been a discoloration but it's about time I got rid of it since it seemed to be getting worse. Turns out it was just a fungus so tevsy. I just have to take four pills. I went the gym and did my OH. Then back to the city for The Bird and the Bee. They are so incredibly adorable I really could not deal at all! It was a great show though quite short :( Afterwards, met up w/Megan, Lizzy, Harmony? Devon, and John for a sec at Toronado for some special beer week thing. I had a really delicious beer/wine hybrid which was fantastic. Ben and I then went to Manic Mondays at the new Bar on Church. They were showing Robocop which was hilarious. We met this dancer and everytime he said he was a dancer I kept thinking of that SNL Beyonce sketch. We took him home which was lolz but he left in a huge hurry and left a sock.
Tuesday the 10th:
Woke up super hungover, went to 10 minutes of 227 and left to get lunch.
I don't remember much else from that day, probably stupes.
Wednesday the 11th:
School, etc. Took two pills for the rash and went for a jog to get sweaty cuz it's supposed to work better that way.
Thursday the 12th:
I dunno more school stuff?
Friday the 13th:
Did school-y things and went to the gym. Then met up w/Megan at Intermezzo in the pouring rain for lunch before we picked up Roxy and headed down south. Of course we were in Shishir's car so there were issues. We had to tie a string to the emergency latch in the trunk in order to open it w/out having to pull down a back seat and climb in so that was lolz. We took the 101 because if there was snow on the 5 we couldn't take it. We stopped in SLO at Megan's parent's place so they could give us dinner so that was good. Also her mom had a ton of sweethearts which I love so she gave us a bunch. We then continued on our way, had a Weezer Green Album Sing-a-Long, and made it to LA in good time.

We got to LA, dropped off Roxy, picked up Vero and Alan and went to Akbar for 45 minutes of drinking and dancing. It ended up being a lot of fun and I'm glad I made us all go.
Saturday the 14th:
Went to the Coffee Bean w/Megan to sit outside, people watch, and do grading. Then we walked around Santa Monica a bit. Afterwards, went to my grandfather's 95th birthday party. It was fun seeing all of my family :) My neice and nephew were adorable of course. Jake got tired and kept yelling "I've got to get out of here!" Which was so cute. My uncle decided it would be a good idea to put 95 candles on my grandfather's cake. It wasn't such a good idea as it was just this fireball my dad had to blow out.
Afterwards, met up w/Kat, Vero, Beric, Cody, Erika, Bridget (!!!), Amir, and this new kid at an irish bar on Main. I was super surprised to see Beric cuz no one had told me he had moved to LA like two weeks prior and that was kinda awkz. We hung out for a bit and I got to catch up w/Bridget which was fantastic. We tried to go to this party that Dylan Vigus told us about but they were charging cover so eff that! Then we decided to go hang out at Kat's but Vero, Beric, and Bridget went home. I was driving the new guy, Chaz.

I had gone about a half block when I got pulled over which was terrifying! I've never been pulled over before! I spent ages looking for the registration and proof of insurance and couldn't find them at all. I kept apologizing and saying I was just visiting family and it was my mom's car and that's why I didn't know where anything was. He told me he pulled me over cuz my headlights weren't on. (Whoops!)

He also gave me a field sobriety test which I of course passed (cuz, you know, one beer isn't gonna do much for me). He eventually let me go w/just a warning. I guess I just seemed too pathetic :) Anyway, I made it over to Kat's but I didn't feel like staying so I just went home.
Sunday the 15th:
Got up fairly eraly to go have brunch w/my dad, uncle, and Mikelle at this adorable french market on Abbot Kinney. That was really deliciuos. Then met up w/Megan, Lizzy, and Roxy at the Barney's Barker Hangar Sale but didn't find a single thing :( Well I saw some nice leather jakcets that were $5000 off but were still $1000 so eff that.
We then went to in'n'out and were on our way! We made it over the grapevine as there wasn't any snow on the road so that was great and we made it back up super quick. Ben got my speakers for valentines day which was adorable and also a huge bunch of flowers and a big thing of chocolates. It was kinda ridiculous.

Ben and I had some quick dinner and then went to Truck because his friend Anka was having some thing there but there wasn't much going on except 2 for 1 drinks. She told us everyone was heading over to the Paradise Lounge. We got over there and it was Gipster central. I was so happy! The music was good disco and there were lots of hot guys. Ben and I danced a little bit and checked out the boys. We also chatted w/Suppositori Spelling for a bit.
Monday the 16th:
Got up kinda early to go to Costco for an optometry appointment. Turns out I'm still at the same prescription for contacts so yay! I also got a prescription for glasses. We went to Site for Sore Eyes in Union Square and they were having a sale. I found a pair I really liked and I got another for free so that was yay! Then we headed over to east bay to hang out a bit and do laundry and Ben cut my hair. We slept on the futon which wasn't super comfortable.

Tuesday the 17th:
Class, blah, etc. Ben cleaned up my room and set up my new speakers and my old stereo in the kitchen.
Wednesday the 18th:
Ben and I found a new bed for me on CL! So Ben rented a truck and picked me up from campus. We went and got the bed and after some wrestling, got it set up in my room. I finally feel like a real adult with a real adult full size bed. We broke it in that night ;) And I've slept really well in it so far.

Thursday the 19th:
Ben completely re-did my room which was a huge surprise. It was super adorable of him :) I had class all day which wasn't super fun so blah at that!
Friday the 20th:
Woke up late and felt weird so dressed in a funny outfit :) I had on a baseball shirt I got at the dollar sale, a pair of h&m jeans which I bought a year ago but never wore (I decided I didn't like them but apparently they shrink a lot in the wash so we'll see), my nice FCUK shoes, a fedora, and neon-green fake Wayfarers from 7-11. I hope it was lolz for other people. After gym and the class I went over to Noah's and met up w/Erika and Michelle to play scrabble, have rootbeer floats and watch shows from adult swim and full house. It was super lolz.

Then I went home and changed into much nicer clothes: Cheap Monday Jeans, Calvin Klein Chelsea Boots, a button up shirt, my houndstooth waistcoat, a black tie, and my pea coat to go see Casablanca at The Paramount. I'm glad I decided to dress up cuz all my friends were as well. The movie was really good. I'd never seen it before! So I was happy I got to see my friends and the movie. I headed over to the city and met up w/Lizzy. Her friend had just moved in downstairs so was having a little party and then a bunch of us went over to Madron (what a surprise!) It was pretty fun and I got pretty lolzy drunk. There was this really hot gay w/us and we started dancing and making out so tha twas good. Afterwards he bought me a beer at a much quieter bar and we started talking. Turns out he graduated from Architecture at USC and worked for HOK across the street from me in Culver City. He couldn't find work in SF at all and so was moving to Shanghai for a job in two weeks. I told him that I had a boyfriend and wnated him to come home w/me but he didn't want that :( He just wanted me. We got back to Lizzy's and I had Ben come over for some pizza as I thought that would convince him otherwise but instead we just made out in the bathroom for a bit and then he left.

Saturday the 21st:
Got brunch and wandered an antique store on Haight. Then went to get my new glasses yay!
Then back to Ben's to get ready for Marya's party. I thought I was dressed really adorably.

I had on the CK boots again, black Cheap Mondays, this white euro-trash shirt from h&m, suspenders, we faked my tie to look like a skinny tie (just did it backwards and tucked the fat part into my shirt), my marine's uniform jacket, a mask w/a huge nose like The Knife, and my fedora. I thought I looked very good :) I went over to Marya's but got there later than I wanted and was having trouble getting drunk. Her friends are nice so it was nice to see them again. Also got to hang out w/Gabe a bit. Ben didn't realize I was leaving so early so he didn't get to make it to the party but he did drive me over to the Mission so I could hang out w/Megan and Lizzy.

We went to beauty bar and the doorman was all nice to me and on my way in was all "I was in the marines too!" and I lolzed a ton. We danced a bunch so that was fun. Then we went over to the Make-Out Room but they were still charging cover so we said eff that. But it had started pouring, Lizzy went in, and Megan biked home so Ben told me to go hang out in the lobby of Spense's building since it's right there so I did :) and waited for him to come pick me up. Luckily I had my ipod so I was good. Also one of the neighbors came in and flirted w/me for a bit so that was lolz.

Sunday the 22nd:
Got up and cleaned Ben's room a bit then we got burritos and headed out of the city. We got over to Sacramento and picked up Ben's mom and went to get drinks in the Lavendar District there. I could not believe how cheap the prices were! Then we got Mongolian Bar-B-Q and went to go see Coraline in 3D. What a fantastic movie! It was gorgeous and the story was great and it was just really fantastic.
We went back to Ben's mom's and watched a little tv including "Look Around You" which I was so excited to see on TV here. I don't even remember where I first saw it but it spoofs sixties British educational movies and it's hilarious.

Monday the 23rd:
Woke up roughly as Ben's co-manager called him to see where he was since he was supposed to be in Burlingame in 5 minutes to start a training. So that was a big whoops. I've never seen the drive back to the bay from Sacramento done more quickly. I went to the gym which was fun :) I weighed 167.2 which is 10 lbs more than when I started recording my weight on 15 September. We'll see what my weight for the week is though (I take the lowest for the week and record that).
Then I did OH and got some homework done and went to have dinner w/Ljuba. He's totally smitten w/his new boy so that's adorable. It was good to get to catch up w/him at least though. Then back here to do my own laundry and get things done that I need to get done. So yay!
