Hey everyone! Just wanted to throw out here something I said on my blog as well. As you know, one tool that people use to search for old Sims content is Arhive.org's Wayback Machine. Unfortunately, the crawler that it uses misses a lot however, if you're willing, you can install a browser extension that archives every public (and ONLY public) webpage that you visit. Many blog pages, (Such as this blog!) aren't entirely archived due to Wayback's crawler not being able to correctly parse LiveJournal (and MANY other sites) and if just a few of you downloaded the extension that would mean that a lot of content would be archived that may otherwise be lost.

I've been looking for a Firefox based extension, but I haven't found one yet. I'll keep looking to see if I can find one though!

Chrome extensions will work in other Chrome based browsers such as Vivaldi, Brave and Iridium.

How would this even work? Would they make a trait for polyamory, or what? They absolutely cannot take out jealousy for all Sims, or else they'd be really fucking up a basic emotion that 99% of people have. There are some who don't get jealous when their SO engages in romantic behavior with other people, ok. But the vast majority do. And even the ones who are ok with it, generally need to have some kind of discussion about it, it's usually not just "Oh ok yeah go fuck whoever you want and flirt with them in front of me, it's fine." Is polyamory even legal in any first world countries?? Like how the fuck would they manage this? There's already some kind of reward trait that lets Sims not get jealous when you complete an aspiration, isn't there? I don't know, I think this is a dumb idea.

In my experience it isn't. The only time I've ever had a reaction is when a wife walked in on her husband woohoo'ing with another woman. She got angry and then autonomously calmed herself down using a mirror which good rid of the angry moodlet so she didn't care.

It is, but it's pretty anemic in this game. They will usually react if they're in the same room when it happens, but they don't tend to get as angry or hold grudges for as long. And it seems that sometimes it does glitch out and they don't seem to notice at all.
