I really love your posing, you know that? You have a knack for finding jsut the right animations to translate into believeable body language and expressions. I really dig the sets, too! It's probably the first tiem the Beaker castle looked somewhat cozy.
I'd been reading along in lurkdom so glad to see a new chapter. I love all the little details here, the decor and the posing, especially the pictures on the castle walls. Also, Joss Stone reference, makes me curious about Lola even though she's entirely off-screen.
I think re-decorating Beaker's castle into something habitable is the best part of starting a new Uberhood and Strangetown. Here Gundrun Beaker is an owner of antique shop specialising in art nouveau, so I had an excuse to make a place much nicer
I had The White Stripe's version in mind, but now I can see Lola preferring Joss Stone's version and Chloe sticking to the rock one.
Ah, I had a feeling there was another version but I couldn't think of it, wasn't thinking gender-reversed lyrics. (Unfortunately that link is banned here for copyright infringement or something but I just watched performance on Letterman instead.)
In that case I can also see Chloe having no clue whatsoever that they're singing completely different songs in their heads when typing in that password :)
Lol, maybe it's just me always seeing tension in mostly everything I read, but Cynthia's comparison of Chloe and Robert made it seem like there was some (platonic) attraction between the two women. That's kinda touching that Cynthia would have rather been a vet despite acting paying loooads more money. ou o I'm also ticked by Mrs. Beaker and how Loki looks, lol. They're so pressing! I wonder where Circe is, though. O:
