Hey, guys. So I’ve been doing this project in my drama class where we are putting together a production about bullying for elementary kids. And the whole process has gotten me thinking about people feeling insecure or wanting to commit suicide because of being bullied. And then, the other night I was thinking about all the problems in this world,

Suicide is so, so sad to me. Everyone has something to live for, no matter how bleak life seems. I fully believe that. The sad part is that so many people don't realize that. I guess they need help to see it, and that's something they don't have access to.

This was beautiful, in a sad way.

I know, I'm thankful I have never had thoughts about ending my life. Though I can't say that I wouldn't if I was in the place of some people. I agree that you should try to stay alive, but I know what it's like to lose hope and I think it's helped me learn that death isn't always the worst thing. Though, as I have already said, I still think suicide is a horrible idea, and I wish there weren't any reasons for people to want something like that, and I know if there was something I could do to change that, I would. Thanks for reading :) It's good it wasn't taken the wrong way. I have only told my sister and livejournal about this because I was afraid someone would like lock me up for writing something like this.

I know what you mean... Well, not personally, but I can understand how people might think. I'm not saying there's never a reason to contemplate suicide, just that there are so many other options and I wish people could see that. You know?

I don't think you have to worry. As long as you make it clear (which you did) that you are not suicidal, that you are just concerned about the issue on a global scale, I don't think anyone will freak out on you :) It's a tough subject and I think it affects a lot of people, even those who have never thought about suicide themselves. That's the thing, suicide affects way more than just the person committing it, and I think it's difficult for the suicidal people to see that. They stop thinking that anyone cares about them, which is not true!

I completely agree that suicide effects much more than the suicidal person. I hate that they think no one cares, I think there is something everyone has to live for, they just need to find it :)

I didn't find your comment mean, I'm sorry I stirred up any bad memories :( I'm a little confused as what you meant to say though. Do you think this post was that I was suicidal? If that's so, I can assure you that's not the case. As you said in your comment that my post is something that should be posted to tell people that they aren't alone, and in a way, that's what I intended. I mainly posted this to spread awareness, but I wanted people to realize they aren't alone. In fact, I've been seriously contemplating doing a follow up post that is more personal to me and connects to that idea more. I guiltily understand what you mean about thinking people are over dramatic for threatening suicide, I had a friend that was like that, and I was mad that she would say something like that especially because I didn't think she was serious (which she wasn't) and I hate that anyone would put themselves in that kind of place because of something that I thought was stupid. I don't know if I make anymore sense to you then you did to me, but I hope

No, don't worry, you didn't stir any bad memories, the topic just got me thinking. And I didn't think that you were suicidal, it's okay, I understand that it's a suicide note purely made up to spread the message.

And you didn't hurt anyone's feelings, if anything, you did the opposite and you're shining a light on a very serious topic :)

I just read the title and I panicked! But then, I read it, and stop panicking. I am so against bullying! And what I don't like about it, it's when there are victims who suicide, it's that moment when they realize that bullying isn't good. :/ I'm just so frustrated!

And your idea was wonderful, (not the fact that the victim is writing a suicide letter) but how you wrote it.

Thank you :) Well, if nothing else the title will attract readers, eh? I'm glad that you got the gist of the idea, I think it goes without saying that I'm against bullying. I wish it didn't take things as drastic as suicide for someone to let people know that there is something wrong.
