Those two sleeping sims? They are my parents Nancy and Geoffrey Landgraab.
I was not even born yet when it was taken.
And that is my brother Malcolm Landgraab IV. You see I was born into an old family in Sunset Valley. My parents were friends with or enemies of all the big name families.
One day while at work, Mother felt sick to her stomach. She quickly realized that she was pregnant, with me!
That night she told Father, and he was thrilled. He had always wanted another child, someone to play with my brother who was a bit of a late bloomer.
Mother hadn't planned on anymore children after Malcolm, but she was secretly as happy as Father there would be another baby in the house. She was very close to reaching her Lifetime Want of being a CEO of a major corporation, but having me wouldn't keep her too long from it.
After all she could still work from home.
It was during this time that Father decided to quit his job at the hospital and take up his true love: painting.
His skills needed a lot of work before he would become an Illustrious Author. At least Mother was supportive of this wish.
Before long Mother felt a sharp pain late in the day while taking a nap.
The recently hired maid near had a heartattack.
And I came along so quickly Mother had no time to get to the hospital. Oh, which remind me, I haven't told you who I am! How rude, please forgive me. My name is Alabaster Landgraab of Sunset Valley. When I begin my journey fully, I will give you a complete rundown of my various traits, favorites and life wishes. But first, a quick tour of my early years in luxury.
Here I share a birthday with my brother Malcolm.
I was brought to the cake so late, a lot of the guest had already left.
Oh, how embarassing! Malcolm must have put that in the album the jerk.
As you can see here, even in my early years I was getting the constant message that money meant everything. I was to think or care about nothing else.
It disappointed Father even then when I would think about things outside the family homestead.
But Father was very good to me. He loved teaching me how to walk and talk. I think he secretly wished for more children, but Mother had stated in no uncertain terms that she was getting too old for anymore pregnancies.
Here was another birthday.
While mostly away at her many meetings, Mother always found time to show me affection. I was her baby after all.
Malcolm also would spend time with me. He would throw the ball rather hard, but I knew he didn't let his little resentments keep him from loving me. After all he was my big bro, and he watched out for me. After Mom got him a treadmill and weight machine, he had begun to lose his baby fat and grow confidence.
So that is my family, one which I would have to leave and begin a new life. But I will leave that story for next time.
