You know what's been the most interesting thing about subbing? Seeing what teachers really think about people. I had to come spot this coach 4th block (and am slightly bitter since I could be home right now) that teaches ISSC and before I went in, he took me out in the hall and said this... and I quote

Good luck with fixing the world in D.C....and you have to remember Lauren, if there weren't any kids that failed school, then there wouldn't be any fast food restaurants workers, or any other job that pays minimum wage. They are helping the economy with their loserness. Hey did you say you were going to Lewisville tomorrow night? Or Saturday? We are going to AppleBee's tomorrow.
