The fairy story is brilliant! It's great to find out about the sisters, but seriously, that fairy story is so believable. It honestly sounds just like the ones I read as a child.
And of course it has a sinister side... :P
I hope Rowan is okay, and I hope the young family don't suffer such a terrible fate as those in the story!

I'm really glad you liked the story. I was eager to get to this part, because I've been working on this fairy tale since the beginning of the story. It's changed a few times though, but the themes are just about the same. I'm very inspired by old folklore and the 'dark' bits of stories by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen that the Disney movies like to leave out. ;)

Wow! This was a long chapter :)

I really liked the following:
----
Linden: He's finding someone who might be able to help. Like I said. Hell. High water.

Rowan: Fucking woods...
----
:)

I loved Otto Sim's story too! What an ungrateful king though! And are we going to find out more about the letter that Otto kept?

This was an awesome update!

I never mean them to be long chapters. I just keep adding stuff, yikes! Like Linden, for example. I felt like he needed a part in there.

I'm glad you liked Otto's story. You're right, the King was ungrateful in it. But there's more to tell (about Otto too!), so I'm looking forward to all of that.

Aww, glad you like Otto. He'll be mildly important in a while. ;) As for the story, you are correct. And that's all I'll say about that for now. :D

Well it's a good thing the old man is intriguing. ;) We'll learn more about him soon-ish.

I don't think you need to thank me... all I've done here is entirely my pleasure, and everyone's been so nice. :)
