I wrote twenty pages of my thesis today. This brings me to about seventy-five total. I cannot believe how much that is. The following weeks will be dedicated to editing the crap out of every page to make this as brilliant as a fictionalized biography can be.

I haven't the faintest clue why I am telling you this, it's just been on my mind as I've been reading your thesis over the last few weeks. Richard O'Brien wrote The Rocky Horror Picture Show in six months. Rumor has it, it was his thesis for school. (not) But slapdash writing and BOOM a cult classic. What that has to do with anything, I just don't know.

I just don't want you to sweat writing your thesis to the point you exhaust yourself, or stress yourself to the point of exhaustion. You have a unique gift for the written word, don't beat yourself up so much. Life is too short...
