I agree in that I disliked a good portion of the movie adaptation. The love story was tacked on and everything was heightened to this exaggerated "The government is responsible for everyone's problems" level that didn't do the original message justice. A lot of the psychology was cut out, which made me sad. The graphic novel is amazing though and if you haven't read it already, I suggest you do so.

At the very least, Hugo Weaving's voice is awesome. And Stephen Fry is my modern Oscar Wilde.

Meh, waste of film. However if you and I had gone together, it would have been a scream ;) We'd make GREAT critics!!

the college radio station i was listening to at work today played a two or three song block of music from said film. the only song i liked was one that i had already heard and liked years ago: i found a reason by cat power.

and that is what you get for reminding me about something.
