SAT's

Just got my SAT scores back: 1420 (700 math, 720 verbal). I should be happy with it, but I'm kind of depressed about it. I thought I did so much better than that. People keep telling me "Dude, you did hella well," but I kind of feel that I let myself down.

That's a crazy, crazy good score and you basically have any college to choose from now. But I also see how you could be dissappointed. It's awesome that you can make standards like that for yourself.

You don't know how bad my high school grades are. Sophomore and junior year overall my GPA was something like a 2.7. So while I could get into some crappy college with what I have, I wouldn't be satisfied. My college GPA right now is about a 3.6, which is pretty damn good (since its college there aren't weighted classes, but if it was calculated as a high school GPA it would be a 4.6 because they're all the equivalent of AP classes). I've decided to stay on at community college for another year after I graduate, and then transfer into college as a junior. If I keep my college GPA up I have a decent chance at getting into UCLA and Berkeley and the like.
