what does the american workforce have to do in order to get robots to serve us hamburgers? and i'm not talking about "hyperactive bob". i want to look into a cold steel face with a permanent smile and ask for food so overprocessed and preassembled that it would be identical no matter where i order it or what natural conditions affected the plants and animals from which the food is derived. going to mcdonald's is not about seeking a human experience, it's about getting industrial food. working at mcdonald's is the same, except you're serving the food and you're required to smile no matter how inhumane the customer is. that sounds like a perfect job for robots, not humans.
