I saw Crystal Castles a couple months ago and was really disappointed. Basically an ear-splitting din of noise, although they certainly got the crowd worked up. I left after about 20 minutes to avoid paying an extra £4 in parking fees.

It did make for some great pictures at least, as it was nearly pitch black at the show, which took place inside a barge on a river.

You look like you got right up to the front to get a good view of that DiCaprio shirt.

I used ear plugs,I found that helped a lot. you feel lame at the time but the next day you are glad you did.

Earplugs are always a good idea.
