This was very very beautiful, and I'm very very glad I read it. You did a wonderful job doing something I think is not done enough in fandom, developing characters that are detailed enough but not so much in focus that they take attention away from the main character. You really struck a chord with Blaine's relationship with his grandfather, I think. I also want to say that your writing is subtly superb, very understated and well thought-out. This is definitely going in my bookmarks. Wonderful.

Gosh I am so so so sorry it's taken me so long to reply to your comment, especially since it's so lovely!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I'm very glad you liked Blaine's grandad. I spend my days surrounded by academics, and well, there are a lot of them who are understated and subtle and absolutely godawful at communicating but still have their heart in the right place, even if they don't know how to show it.
