Yeah I agree. I don't see the reason so many people are bitching about "the quality going down". They make like a metric ton of wigs, there's bound to be a few with imperfections, especially at event times. I mean they ARE handmade. Humans aren't machines.
Out of the two times I ordered, one was during no event and they were perfect, and the other was during a color event and only one out of 6 was complaint worthy, (+1 more with a shorter than usual cut to the fringe). I felt SO happy to get that ratio of good to bad! And still it wasn't so horrible it wasn't usable. Leeke was even willing to replace them if I sent them back (which I didn't because I was too busy at the time with Christmas shit). I ended up selling the bulk of them, due to financial reasons recently for pretty much retail (The 'defective one' sold for $26... and sold FIRST.)
People just like to bitch. I personally love the styles they have, and the colors/ fiber and won't stop buying from them just because I got ONE slightly less than satisfactory wig.
I think some people are just unlucky. Years ago I got some great wigs from Leeke, but in more recent years they've been weird (I wouldn't say defective, just weird). I used to buy their wigs and plop them right on a doll's head and they looked perfect... not the case anymore, I usually have to position and trim them just so to make it look good.
I do have a friend though who has gotten bad wigs from them 3/4 of the time. One had chunks of hair that LITERALLY stuck out perpendicular to the wig, I saw it myself, it was completely unusable. And Leeke refused to replace it. :{
