They mostly start with a "thing" happening. Looks like you write to build suspense, starting from the get go.

So maybe there's less description or attention to intuitive character building.

A number of them start with a female character, not just Angela. There's also Leah and Camille. Could mean outside of Thomas Magnum and Evan you prefer to write female characters or that outside of them you think female characters make for better hooks than male ones.

Two of them start with the exact same, "The first time it happened." Could mean you wrote them close together, you wrote them far apart, or that you just plain don't care if you use the same line repeatedly.

Three of them are in the first-person perspective rather than third. Could mean you write different stories from different perspectives, or that you use different perspectives in a single story.
