country bumpkin, little lady

this weekend started slow and rainy and an hour late for the bus. it was surprisingly nice to be home for the first time in a while, though maybe too eventful. i spent the whole time with my family and my empty nest ridden mother. we went apple and pinecone picking and shopping in the afternoon and made apple sauce in the evening

i did not mean to cause you sadness! i got in saturday morning and left sunday night, it was a very short visit spent entirely with mommy. i will be seeing you soon when you come to toronto!

no worries m'love, i was being over dramatic.. yes i am sad i didn't hear from you while you were in town but i knew that you probably had good reason. and u do so all is well! and i'll see you at the end of the month darlin
