hi, my name is melissa...i see that your a moderator of axis of uglies...I'm doing a report on "The Rating comms" of livejournal and hot or not.com....and people who feel they need to join and be rated. I just had a few questions. Whats the point in a rating com? Do you think that it causes more harm than good for the person who thinks its all for fun, but when it turns ugly and people start making fun of them, do you think it could become harmful to that person and their self image?
